Valo is a boy of average height, with medium length brown hair and bright, ocean blue eyes. He is almost never seen without a smile on his face, and the boy looks like he bleeds happiness. He normally wears clothes that hide this, but his body is extremely well toned ever since he started training himself daily.[break][break]

There is a small scar on his left temple that he had ever since the night he disappeared. He also has what looks like claw marks on his back. A small scar in the shape of an "A" is carved on his chest over his heart. He almost never goes without a shirt as a result.

biography

The Morei family is well known amongst denizens of Hiraeth City, as Morei Tech is one of few technological powerhouses within the city.[break][break]

There were two individuals in charge of it, childhood friends Eero Morei and Remus Petturi. However, conflict often spurred between the two of them on which path to take the company in, and a vie for power was commonplace. Inari, Eero’s wife, was constantly trying to get Eero to bow out of the race for dominance so that their family could retire and live in peace. Eero would not budge, not wanting to give up the company that had his family’s name on it.[break][break]

Their three children, Chasity, Valo, and Hailey, were often caught in the family ordeals, much to their dismay. Young Valo was a kind hearted, but rather pompous kid, a result of his family’s status, until one day, a disaster struck. One night, when en route to their home, the car that held Valo and Hailey within was blindsided, and the two were kidnapped.[break][break]

Valo woke up in a daze, his head hurting from the impact as blood trickled down his forehead. He was in a dark room that he had never seen before, and as he looked around, he saw he was in some sort of cabin in the woods. Before him was a girl, not much older than him. She had white hair and piercing, purple eyes, and a sinister but unnerving smile. She explained that she was contracted to keep the two of them hidden away until “a deal was struck”, and that there were no hard feelings on her end. Hailey was frightened and began to cry for help, and the girl advanced on Hailey, screaming for her to shut up. Valo stepped forward and pulled the girl off of Hailey, and the girl turned around and backhanded Valo with a force he had never once felt before in his life, knocking him to the ground as pain shot through his head. The girl looked down at Valo with a frightening gaze, a smirk on her face as she told him that he was a fiery one and that she’d have to put him in his place.[break][break]

Valo backed away in fear, but the girl advanced on him, grabbing him and dragging him into a nearby room as she shut the door. Crashing noises and the sound of skin striking skin could be heard as a violent encounter ensued, and Hailey could hear her brother begging for the girl to stop as he screamed. But soon, it went quiet for a while... until sounds she couldn't describe in any sense rang throughout the cabin.[break][break]

No one knows what truly went on in that room, but Valo and Hailey were found two weeks later, the girl was nowhere to be found. Valo was completely broken, bloody, and his clothes were torn apart. On the contrary, Hailey was completely fine. Valo was so traumatized that he was unable to speak for an entire month, and Eero and Inari could never get a peep out of him. He stayed confined to his room and never left it, and he merely stared into space blankly like the soul had left his body. He wouldn’t even talk to his siblings, and Hailey was too shocked to describe what she had heard for the two weeks.[break][break]

Only one word lingered in Valo’s mind, a name… Alymira.[break][break]

At the end of the month, Valo emerged from his room. Something about him seemed different. He was recovering still, but he was happy and outgoing. A huge smile was on his face almost all the time, and he loved life far more than he ever had. When questioned about what happened in those two weeks, he seemed to have no idea what anyone was talking about. It was as if he had forgot all about that traumatic experience, and he was unable to describe who the one who took them captive was. As far as his parents and siblings could tell, he was completely fine, if not happier than usual.[break][break]

But there was something strange about him. He was far more into keeping busy than he ever was. He took an interest in technology and keeping his mind occupied at all times. He had a dislike for any physical contact, getting frightened whenever anyone of the opposite sex got too close to him or looked as though they would hug him. His parents were concerned, but thought that maybe he was growing into puberty.[break][break]

Three years had passed since that fateful night, and Valo had grown up into a happy, fine young man with a love for people and the world. His interest in technology had grown considerably, and he was starting to develop things in secret from his family, using their tech. Having been obsessed with comics since he was a young boy, Valo fashioned himself an outfit and a bow, amongst other gear, and goes undercover in an effort to figure out questions that pop into his head out of seemingly nowhere regarding his family’s company and their inner circle, as well as protecting those around him. For three years, he had trained himself. For three years, he had become obsessed. He wasn’t sure why, but anyone who knew him would consider it a possible side effect of what he had gone through, and that maybe Valo wasn’t entirely there this whole time.[break][break]

Valo excels in fast, decisive strikes. As a result, his fighting style is quick and brutal. Valo is a quick thinker and a strategist. He is very observant and knows how to talk his way out of most situations. He's also very easy to befriend.[break][break]

Valo doesn't do very well in grapples, lacking the strength to fight his way out of a hold against a strong opponent. Surprises catch him off guard and leave him very open as he's unable to deal with them until his mind processes things. His overly friendly nature may bring him enemies if they don't like his normal sweet nature, and find it to be fake instead.[break][break]
